After our complimentary meet and greet, we will create personalized assessments for your child to identify their academic challenges. By analyzing these results, Academics University will pinpoint their exact struggle area(s), allowing us to create an individual program tailored to your child’s academic needs and challenges.

Individualized lesson plans

We will develop lesson plans with fun learning activities for your child based on their assessment results. We believe that for our children to become lifelong learners, we need to make learning enjoyable when we can ensure their minds stay open, positive, and receptive to what they are learning. When your child receives this one-on-one attention from their Private Teacher, focused on their individual needs and struggles, they will thrive and grow toward their confident, successful self.

You and your child will have access to all activities and lessons through your parent/student porthole and post-lesson notes.

We will set attainable goals to work towards together so we can complete these goals and empower your child to feel that intrinsic sense of accomplishment. We will set goals for our learning sessions, goals for school, and goals for home as well. By getting into the early habit of setting short-term and long-term goals, we are setting your child up for a successful future.

We should all be setting goals for ourselves to help us be the best people we can be!

Student/parent communication

It is important that the student, parents, and Academics University, are all on the same page to ensure your child’s success. After each lesson, you and your child (if preferred), will receive an email that contains a copy of the lesson plan taught, along with added notes of review, so you will always have updated results of what they are learning, as well as notations of areas of their strengths, and challenge areas that need more attention in future lessons. We will also attach activities electronically for your child to continue practicing skills for mastery until our next session.
